A dramatic police chase ended within the ocean late Saturday night time after a lady, with two canines in the backseat, drove her automobile straight into the waves simply south of the Venice pier.
About 11:21 p.m., California Freeway Patrol officers tried to tug over a silver BMW X3 for rushing alongside the ten Freeway close to Temple Metropolis Boulevard. The motive force, whom authorities recognized solely as feminine, took off as an alternative and continued westbound towards the coast.
After working the automobile into the surf and getting caught within the whitewash, the motive force obtained out and began swimming farther offshore. Greater than a dozen onlookers gawked from the seaside and others watched from the pier because the weird scenario continued to unfold.
As deputies from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Division tried to rescue the motive force, who might be seen bobbing within the waves, county lifeguards found two small canines within the backseat.
Video from the scene reveals a lifeguard lifting one of many canines out of the automobile and cradling the canine again towards shore.
