Police are trying to find the driving force concerned within the deadly hit-and-run of a homeless man early Saturday close to downtown Los Angeles, authorities mentioned.
Police responded to a name about 2 a.m. of a person mendacity face down on the street close to eighth and Alvarado streets in Westlake, west of downtown, in response to Officer Norma Eisenman, a spokesperson for the Los Angeles Police Division.
The unidentified man, who’s believed to have been unhoused, was pronounced lifeless on the scene, Eisenman mentioned. No different details about the sufferer was launched.
No suspect has been recognized within the incident.
In response to a report from KTLA-TV, the 35-year-old man was strolling in a marked crosswalk when a motorist going westbound on eighth Road struck him.
